Both share the same 250m/min design speed, 200m/min working speed and 2200-2500mm effective width β the difference is the corrugated roller diameter: Ο410mm on the NDSF-410DR versus Ο420mm on the NDSF-420DR.
Changing the corrugated roller takes only 2-3 minutes on both models, keeping line downtime to a minimum.
The corrugating rollers are made from 48CrMo alloy steel, quenched to HRC58β60, giving long service life under continuous high-speed operation.
The NDSF-410/420DR is BMC's standard (non-cassette) double-roller single facer, while the NDCSF-410/420DR is the cassette-type version built for fast cassette-style roller changeovers.
